🌿 Introduction: आजकल की भागदौड़ वाली ज़िन्दगी में immunity ही सबसे बड़ी strength है।
As a BAMS Final Year student and an Ayurvedic enthusiast, I’ve personally seen how Ojas (immunity) is the real armour of our body.
Be it changing weather, viral infections, or stress — strong immunity decides how well we cope.
Mujhe yaad hai jab corona ke time mein log kadha, giloy aur turmeric ke peeche bhag rahe the — तब हमें समझ आया कि natural immunity ही असली इलाज है।
So let me share some Ayurvedic and desi immunity boosting tips jo maine personally apnaaye hain — and jinke results मैंने खुद देखे हैं!
🧠 What is Immunity According to Ayurveda?
Ayurveda mein immunity ko "Ojas" bola gaya hai — ek aisi subtle energy jo body, mind aur soul ko protect karti hai.
- Ojas = Vitality + Strength + Disease Resistance
- Weak Ojas = ज्यादा बीमारियाँ, fatigue, allergies
- Strong Ojas = Active mind, clear skin, strong digestion
Ayurveda ke hisaab se immunity directly जुड़ी है हमारे:
- Ahara (Diet)
- Vihara (Lifestyle)
- Dinacharya (Daily Routine)
- Mansik Swasthya (Mental Health) se.
🍀 1. Top Ayurvedic Herbs to Boost Immunity
✅ Giloy (Tinospora Cordifolia)
“Amrit” bhi kaha jata hai isse. Har roz 1-2 tsp giloy juice empty stomach lene se viral se bachav hota hai.
✅ Tulsi (Holy Basil)
1-2 fresh tulsi leaves roz subah chabaayein ya kadha mein daalein – natural antibiotic hai.
✅ Ashwagandha
It boosts both physical aur mental immunity. Stress kam karta hai aur body ko rejuvenate karta hai.
✅ Haldi (Turmeric)
Turmeric latte ya haldi doodh night mein lena – powerful anti-inflammatory + antioxidant.
✅ Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
1 amla daily = Vitamin C boost + skin glow + better digestion
🍵 2. Simple Kadha Recipe (Desi Remedy)
Mera personally tried aur tested kadha:
🫖 In 1 glass water, add:
- 1-inch ginger
- 4 tulsi leaves
- ½ tsp haldi
- 1 small piece of cinnamon
- 2 crushed black pepper
Boil 5–7 mins and drink warm.
(Add honey once cool, not when hot)

✅ Wake up before 6 AM (Brahma Muhurta)
Subah ka samay sattvik hota hai – mind and body dono alert rehte hain.
✅ Oil pulling (Gandusha)
1 tbsp coconut oil se 5-10 mins gargle. Toxins nikalta hai aur oral immunity badhata hai.
✅ Abhyanga (Self Oil Massage)
Til ka tel lagakar body massage – immunity ke saath blood circulation improve karta hai.
✅ Nasya (Nasal drops)
2 drops Anu taila in each nostril – allergies, cold aur sinus ke liye effective.
✅ Morning Exercise / Yoga
Daily Surya Namaskar + light stretching – body active aur toxins flush out.

Ayurveda kehta hai – stress is "Ojas Nashak".
Main jab bhi zyada anxious hota hoon, I feel low energy, poor digestion, aur thakawat.

🍚 5. Immunity Boosting Diet (Indian Desi Style)
Foods to Eat:
- Seasonal fruits (amla, anar, papaya)
- Desi ghee (small amount daily)
- Moong dal, fresh cooked rice, vegetables
- Herbal teas (coriander + fennel)
Foods to Avoid:
- Junk food, cold drinks
- Late-night meals
- Excess sugar
- Reheated food
✅ Rule: Jo easily digest ho, wahi immunity badhata hai.
🧒 For Kids & Elders
- Kids – Give turmeric milk, chawanprash, ghee, and play time in sun.
- Elders – Warm food, tulsi tea, light stretching, early dinner.
💬 My Personal Experience
Main khud roz Subah oil pulling karta hoon, nasya aur giloy juice leta hoon.
I used to fall sick every 2-3 months, but since following this routine, I rarely even catch a cold.
Ayurveda is not just herbs, it’s a way of living in sync with nature.
🌿 My Daily Ayurvedic Immunity Routine – Simple & Desi Tips I Follow
Being an Ayurvedic student, immunity ko main bas ek supplement se nahi, ek jeevan shaili (lifestyle) se jod ke dekhta hoon. Mujhe lagta hai ki immunity build karna ek din ka kaam nahi hai – it's something we need to work on every single day.
Subah uthte hi main sabse pehle ek glass haldi aur kali mirch wala garam paani peeta hoon. Yeh meri body ko detox karta hai aur sardi-zukaam se bachata hai. Uske baad Giloy juice ya kabhi-kabhi Chyawanprash lena meri habit ban chuki hai, specially jab mausam badalta hai.
Breakfast se pehle kuch fruits lena – jaise amla, guava ya papaya – meri daily routine ka part hai. Seasonal fruits immunity boost karte hain naturally, bina kisi chemical ke.
Dopehar mein khane ke baad main kabhi kabhi Triphala churna ya jeera-ajwain ka kadha leta hoon – digestion theek rahe to immune system bhi strong rehta hai. Tulsi, adrak aur mulethi wali chai shaam ko toh meri favourite immunity drink hai!
Raat ko sone se pehle golden milk (haldi wala doodh) zaroor peeta hoon. Aur haan, Pranayama aur 10-15 minute ka meditation har din karta hoon – kyunki mind bhi healthy rahe toh body naturally defend karti hai infections se.
Main processed food aur thanda paani avoid karta hoon, aur jab bhi time milta hai, suraj ki roshni me baith jata hoon – Vitamin D free ka immunity booster hai na!
Yeh sab chhoti chhoti cheezein milkar mera immunity lifestyle banati hain. Main yeh sab personally follow karta hoon, isiliye confidently keh sakta hoon ki Ayurveda sirf treatment nahi, ek prevention ka way hai.
Aapko bhi yeh follow jaruur karna chahiye!
